- Housekeeping is available which includes maid service, linen change, replenishment of the paper products starter pack, and taking out the trash. Please let me know if you would like this service. There is a $50 charge.

Quirky things about the condo
- Insects: Along with the beauty of our tropical island come the insects. Keep the doors and screens closed and be sure that food items are wrapped or stored in plastic containers. We have ongoing pest control services however do not be alarmed if you see a few bugs as they are a part of living in paradise!
- Murphy Bed (queen wall bed):
- There is a keyed safety lock on the righthand side of the cabinet. To release turn the key clockwise. If stuck, push the door in and then turn the key to release the lock. Please leave the key in the lock at all times.
- To re-lock the bed, turn the key counterclockwise and push in once the bed is in vertical position
- Please utilize the straps at the foot of the bed when closing up the bed and use the bungie cords to connect the straps (bungie from one of the top corners to the opposite bottom corner). This secures the mattress stays against the bedframe ensuring the counterweights are correct. Otherwise the bed is hard to pull down and put back up!
- To adjust lights on ceiling cans:
- The black remotes control the ceiling fans to the living room and bedroom. Please do not try to reprogram the remotes to the fans.
- The white remote controls the dining room fan.
- Point the remotes directly at the fan to operate
- Hit the power button then hit the light button in the middle at the bottom, hold the up or down button to increase or decrease the brightness.
Resources
- Babysitters (I cannot vouch for these as I have never used, so do your own due diligence.)

Must see!
- The turtles and monk seals at Poipu Beach: Arrive early in the morning or the evening when they come up on the shore. Maintain plenty of distance between yourself and the seals for safety! Grab a Puka Dog at the world famous Hawaiian hot dog stand across the street, enjoy the sunset and the evening animals.
- Come Support Our Farmers and Local Businesses at a Farmer's Market: https://www.kauai.com/kauai-farmers-markets
- The Shops of Kukui'ula have a weekly market, check their website and advertisements in the shopping area for days/times.
- Waimea Canyon
- Visit early in the day to avoid cloud cover, the easiest way to see The Napali Coast is a drive up the canyon, allot at least 1/2 day. Consider a hike and go prepared (cell service is spotty).
- The Napali Coast
- Boat Ride: We recommend Captain Andy's. For smoother sailing and relaxation take a catamaran snorkel or sunset cruise. For an adventurous day dodging in and out of sea caves try the zodiac boat tours!
- Helicopter: The best and quickest but priciest way to see the whole island including the inside of the crater! We haven't done one in 15 years because well there is sooooo much to do on foot!
- Kayak (from the North Shore and for the physically fit only!)
- Hike: Feel free to contact us for recommendations. You can hike a lot of places up Waimea Canyon, Koke'e State Park, the Kalalau Trail, Honopu Ridge Trail amongst others.
