Self Check - In
- Check In is after 4 pm unless prior arrangements have been made. If you will be checking in after 7 pm please contact us earlier so we can ensure you have all the information you need for a seamless check-in.
- Your lock-box code will be sent the same day of check in at 11:00 AM HST to your e-mail.
- Once you arrive at unit 14 (we recommend parking in the middle area of the lot), there will be two lockboxes. The lockbox closest to the door is the guest lockbox.
- After unlocking the door, please return the key to the lockbox. This will ensure that you cannot lock yourself out of the unit.
- House and pool keys are inside on the key hanger.
- Text us to let us know you arrived and all is in good condition. We love to hear from our guests!
Parking
- You may park anywhere in the lot except the area with the covered cars, that is only for owner long term parking.
- There will be a parking pass in the unit on the counter, if it is not on the counter, there are a stack of them in the kitchen "junk drawer." Please have the pass filled out and displayed at all times.
- Street parking is not allowed in Princeville.
- Do not block garbage disposal or access areas.
House Rules
- Replacement pool key has a $50 fee due at the time of replacement
- There is a Home Owners Association charge if there are any towels, swim suits or clothing hung from the lanai, this fee will be passed on to the guest. We have provided a drying rack on the lanai for these items.
- Please do not set the A/C lower than 70 degrees F, the condensate in the discharge line can back up and cause the split A/C to malfunction.
- There is a $50 on island emergency contact for condo access, Monica ((808) 635-8589) our cleaner is available for emergency access to the condo. Fee is due at the time of service. For all other non-access issues please contact us directly!
- Mike (330) 949-3426; Audrey (330) 903-3294
- Please treat our equipment kindly, it is provided for your convenience, if something is broken please let us know.
- Please lock the door when you leave as even in paradise there can be petty crime.
- Sand: Please rinse off sand at the front hose before coming inside. Sand has clogged drains and affected plumping for us and our neighbors.
- Please rinse off beach gear before putting it in the storage bins or bringing it onto the deck.
Quirky things about the condo
- Insects: Along with the beauty of our tropical island come the insects. Keep the doors and screens closed and be sure that food items are wrapped or stored in plastic containers. We have ongoing pest control services however do not be alarmed if you see a few bugs as they are a part of living in paradise!
- Master Shower: If it drains slowly, you may use the provided key hanging on the wall to lift the linear drain cover and clear any sand.
Amenities
- Grills: There is a propane grill for guest use located at the pool area and in the covered pavilion. Instructions are on the grill, check the gas valve first if it's not working, then reach out if needed.
- Pool: Keyed private access, do not allow others in that do not have a key. The replacement key fee is $50.
- Trash: Located at the parking lot entrance. There are bins for recycling, however all cardboard needs to be taken to the Hanalei Transfer Station at 5-3171 Kuhio Highway 8am-3pm. Do not leave cardboard in the unit.
- Wifi
- Wifi Network: SpectrumSetup-178B
- Wifi Password: outsidebottle294
- Housekeeping is available which includes maid service, linen change, replenishment of the paper products starter pack, and taking out the trash. Please let me know if you would like this service. There is a $50 charge.
- Beach gear: Is in the benches on the front lanai. Please wash all gear to remove salt and sand before placing it back in the benches.
- We can offer guaranteed later check out for 50% off the nightly rent, check with us if you have a late flight out. If the condo is available we would be happy to offer this for you!
Check-Out

- Please help us and our housekeepers with the following:
- Load and start the dishwasher
- Start a load of beach towels
- Please hose off beach gear before putting away, there is a hose before the entry steps.
- Take out the trash to the dumpster (pests come quickly on the island), take card board with you to the Hanalei Transfer Station on your way to Lihue.
